A walk that means more

Community has always been at the heart of Tonkin — not just in what we do, but in who we do it for. This October, we’re proudly lacing up to support the Sunshine Walk 2025, raising funds for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund.

The Sunshine Walk brings locals together to walk, reflect, and raise money for essential cancer care right here on the Border. Every step taken helps fund vital resources for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, from medical equipment to patient support programs. This ensures local families can access treatment and care close to home.

How Team Tonkin’s getting involved

Throughout October, Tonkin is donating $10 from every air-conditioning service to the Sunshine Walk. It’s a simple way for our customers to help make a real difference while getting their homes summer-ready.

Our team is also rallying behind the cause, raising funds internally and joining the walk on November 9th as Team Tonkin. You’ll spot plenty of familiar faces (and bright shirts) out there walking for loved ones, sharing stories, and showing what it means to come together for something that truly matters.

Why it matters?

Cancer has touched the lives of many within our team, among our families and across our community. Supporting the Sunshine Walk is our way of giving back — helping ensure cancer care continues to shine right here in Albury-Wodonga and the surrounding region, where it’s needed most.
